Caller: ANZ bank scammers I received a scam call here in Australia yesterday, an automated call telling me that my (supposed) ANZ account was about to be charged $1000 for an iPhone order. The message went on to tell me to press 1 if I didn’t authorise this purchase, or press 2 if I did. I then hung up, as I was half asleep and didn’t have enough wits about me to lead these scumbags up the garden path.
