Caller who said they were Jennifer from telstra called me from a NZ number (I'm on holiday here from Australia) and tried to tell me my IP address was public etc and that they can guide me through the steps to make it private again, which is a known Remote Access scam.

I have received 2 calls on different days and have missed both of them. I've tried calling the number and have received automated response saying nothing about who the number belongs to and that it wasn't an urgent call that was made to me and that they will try again soon. The automated message gave no insight into who the place is which I find highly suspicious.

This is the number for Sky NZ. nzcompare.com forwarded my details to them when I was shopping around for broadband deals so that's how they got my number, they were calling to see if I was interested in changing broadband companies. Not a spam caller but if you want them to leave you alone just tell them you've already signed a contract with another broadband company.
