I answered a call by this number. They claimed they were from Amazon wanting me to verify my details before they could allow a purchase for an iPhone to be processed. Told them good try. Go and try to scam someone else and that this call is being recorded and traced. They immediately hung up.

Scam PayPal phone call from a New Zealand number.
It was a recorded message saying that an amount of about $400 in bitcoin had been purchased using my PayPal account. At this point I hung up.
I have checked my PayPal app and see nothing of concern in my activity.
I reported to Scamwatch and PayPal.

Saying there was a charge for a gift card of $932 and to push 2 to approve or # to speak to someone. I hung up.

Answered, there was a considerable delay in their response and it sounded like heavy background conversations with other people. I suspect call center scam.

The usual “Bank Transaction Fraud Department” about a supposed transaction. “Press 1” etc. I pressed 3. The speaker had a slight Indian accent but enunciated very carefully. I used the “flat batteries in my hearing aids approach” until he hung up after a 1 minute one sided conversation. I must remember to pause a bit longer after he stops talking before I respond with my responses.

Had a missed called during an appointment from +64 29 745 4396 - the message left was an automated voice that appeared to miss the first part of the message, but it said:

I said yes cancel and the oseas lady then asked me to put the phone on speaker and log into google on the phone. I said I wont log into anything and just cancel the order.
