Caller: Scammer NZ I believe a scammer who tried to pretend they were from Amazon saying somebody was trying to authorise over $900 on my account. Did I give authorisation. So I responded this is not the way it’s done. The bank request verification of your authorisation. Amazon don’t call you to ask you for authorisation. Of course I was not trying to purchase anything. Attempt to gain info.
