Pleased to find this site identifying I can ignore this number...they called 3 times & when trying to call back message says they not available

Caller: Dominion Post

Missed a call but managed to catch the next one, they were calling about subscribing to the newspaper

Just called me now on my mobile, it seemed suspicious as they just hung up without any word. Didn't think too much about it until I did a Google search and found this site and others reporting this number.

Caller: Sales company.

A company in Auckland calling around the country selling subscriptions to newspapers in your area

Caller: The Press

Trying to cell me a subscription to the Press newspaper (Christchurch newspaper)

Caller: 09 272 6000

Please ingnore this number its a hoax. But they ring every 10- 15 minutes. Very annoying.

Called me three times this afternoon....I picked up, they hung up

Two calls this week from same number. I didn't pick up either as I didn't recognize the number. Reading other comments I assume its a newspaper after subscriptions.

I don't answer unknown numbers but i have had a couple from when I google people who have answered saying they are from a newspaper or meridian(same number) but my suspicion is after googling one of the paper's number which is different that these are not from a newspaper but a hoax

Same as the rest, they rang, I answered, no one said anything.

Long complicated story about where they got their number from which sounds like BS.

They have rung twice. I did not recognise the number so never answered. They do not leave a message. Sounds like an automated call where they only talk if someone picks up the phone.

How do they use Matrix Security's phone number without being prosecuted ? I have blocked this number.
